- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I'm so happy I switched to State Farm! My husband and I were with Allstate and we were trying to buy a house. Our mortgage broker was trying to get the home insurance going so that we could close on time, but our Allstate agent wouldn't get back to her to give her our proof of insurance. We called Brian's office the day before closing because we really needed to get something in place. He was able to get us a policy in force that day, and we switched all our policies to his office. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Just found out by checking my bank account that my insurance went up about $15.00. Called and was told it was due to a new law- https://olis.leg.state.or.us/liz/2015R1/measures/overview/SB411 This isn't good customer care! We were with Linda Sifferman for almost 20 yrs. it sucks she retired. We automatically were transferred to Brian Elder..... We've never met him and it's obvious that he doesn't care about his policy holders. We are searching now for a new company. We have a great driving record for both of us as drivers and we have full coverage on both our vehicles. Why should our insurance go up? When we were with Linda our insurance went up a little when our son was in a car accident and after years went by our insurance went down a couple of times.
